Kapha Prakriti

6 min read•By Kwina Experts
Kapha Prakriti

Kapha is the energy of structure, strength and lubrication, born of Water and Earth. It supports bodily protection, growth, stability and nourishment. When balanced, Kapha is associated with calmness, peace, love and stability; when disturbed, it may manifest through attachment, lethargy, possessiveness and heaviness.

THE ELEMENTS

Water & Earth

WATER(Aapa)
EARTH(Prithvi)

Water is fluid, heavy, soft, viscous, cold and cohesive. It contributes to nourishment, cohesion and the maintenance of life. Earth is heavy, firm, dense, slow-moving and solid. It provides strength, structure and stamina to the body and is associated with stability and groundedness.

Light Meals; Lighter Breakfast & Dinner
Reduce Sweet, Sour & Salty
More Pungent, Bitter & Astringent
Choose Lighter Grains
Lightly Cooked Foods & Suitable Raw
